BECKY FALLS

Becky Falls is approx 10 miles from Newton Abbot, 4 miles west of Bovey Tracey, well sign posted from main roads. It combines the lovely falls with nature trails ranging from easy to walk for the not so energetic and great for children up to the rough and rugged where there are great views of the falls.

There is also a zoo where you can get close up and personal with the ‘not so cute and cuddly’ as well as the cute and cuddly. Enjoy a meal in the licensed restaurant overlooking Becky Brook, or why not take a picnic and sit down to a ‘teddy bears picnic’ in the woods.

There is a 3 bed-roomed cottage available to rent. You may be inspired to write a masterpiece there, as previous guests included Virginia Wolf and Rupert Brooke.

Becky Falls is open February – November 10am –5pm. Dogs are allowed on a lead. Some of the trails are not suitable for pushchairs and the nature trails are not suitable for wheelchairs. It is a good idea to wear sensible walking shoes.
