Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research. 
Cancer Research UK aim to improve peoples understanding of cancer whilst working hard to develop better ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.  This is achieved by suporting research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,500 scientists, doctors and nurses.

You can help raise money for Cancer Research UK by giving regular donations of £2 or more a month.  They currently have over 1 million regular donors giving over £5million pounds each month.  Research is expensive and requires long-term funding so every one of these donations is invaluable.

Another way to give is via their Give in Celebration website http://www.giveincelebration.org.uk/ . It allows you to celebrate a special occasion while supporting Cancer Research UK by instead of receiving presents at your event (Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, or other special event) you can ask friends or family to make a donation to the charity. They can donate via the website, by phone or by cheque.  You may also consider leaving Cancer Research a Legacy (leaving a gift for Cancer Research UK in your will).

Race for Life

Over 549,000 women took part in the national Race for Life series in 2005. Together they raised over £33.5million.  This year there are over 230 Race for Life events throughout the UK.
Internship scheme

This Scheme is aimed at undergraduates, graduates and those looking for a change in career.  They allow you the opportunity to work on specific projects such as diverse as brand guardianship, event logistics, health promotion, business development and human resources.
Charity Shops

Cancer Research UK has around 600 charity shops across the UK and they play a vital role in raising funds and awareness for our cause.
