Description:

Dainton Golf Club is on the A381 Totnes road out of Newton Abbot. Set in 125 acres this is a modern, well laid out course, designed by Adrian Stiff in 1991. 20,000 trees have been planted and many lakes created. The course is a 6,400yds par 71.

There is a 10 bay floodlit driving range. Coaching is available from the club PGA professional, Mike Cayless. Individual lesson are £18 per half hour. The club is open to both members and non members. Membership runs from 1^st November to 31^st October and membership is £640 for full membership, junior membership £160. Joining fees from £300 - £400. Members must also pay England Golf Union dues.

The bar and restaurant are open to the public. Bar snacks available from 9am and there is a hot buffet lunch. Sunday carvary is very popular so it is advisable to book, but there are two sittings so parties can usually be accommodated.

Dainton also has a health club, which is separate to the golf club. Instructors offer 1 to 1 training, sports massage, nutritional analysis and fitness assessment.

The club is open 7am – 9pm weekdays and 8am – 3pm weekends. There are discounts offered to golf club members.
