Grafton Childcare, was Estabilished in 1991 to provide Quality Childcare from my own home. I'm married to Phil we have two adult sons and two younger sons at Stover School.
We provide Childcare on domestic premises which is a new type of childcare that came into force on 1 September 2008.
This is known as childcare on domestic premises, which is what I provide, from my very large five bedroomed Georgian Home, here in the centre of Newton Abbot. There are only six other such settings in the whole of Devon at the moment.
I employ eight full-time Registered Assistants so that I'm able to provide Quality Childcare which is Not Expensive but Priceless. As a Registered Childcarer I'm registered and Graded by
Ofsted and Inspected regularly to ensure that I continue to meet the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, as per the Childcare Act 2006.
Our hourly fees are very simple to understand with no hidden extras, they are inclusive of nappies and meals start at £3.95 per hour for under fives for a minimum of five hours per day. Our fees compare very favourably with other high quality local settings, because they are inclusive of our own washable nappies & freshly prepared home cooked meals and snacks. We operate ratios of between 1:3 for under twos and 1:4 for two year olds and 1:6 for three to eight year olds.
Our hourly fees start at £4.20 per hour for over fives for a minimum of three hours per day during term-time (if you require before and after school care) and £3.95 per hour for a minimum of five hours per day during school holidays. We operate ratios of 1:6 for over fives, most holidays and after school schemes operate with ratios of 1:8 or 1:10.
