'LOOK AFTER TEDDY'

Woody Bear - the Wood's Estate Agents & Auctioneers Charity Figurehead - is pleased to announce the launch of the 'Look after Teddy’ week - in aid of one of the Woody Bear Appeals chosen charities - ‘Families for Children’. The idea is a simple one, designed to fit alongside your normal nursery sessions without causing disruption.

You can do as much or as little as you like, from holding a Teddy Bear’s picnic to inviting Teddy to nursery for a whole week and incorporating him into nursery life. Families for Children will provide you with all the resources you need (sponsor forms, posters etc) and would also offer prizes and certificates when the children have completed their week.

They are the only voluntary adoption agency in the far South West and have a very great need to raise awareness of themselves. Most of the children they help have complex special needs and need special families to cope. They also desperately need to increase our financial resources and would like to think that this ‘Look after Teddy’ week will help.

If you think this would be of interest to you and the children, Lesley (the look after Teddy Co-ordinator) would love to hear from you, and she can of course provide further information and a Nursery Guide to give you some ideas as to how Teddy can join in.
