The Council has 6 allotment fields in the town, 5 of which are administered by the Newton Abbot and District Allotments Association.
Newton Abbot and District Co-operative Allotment Association
NADCAA is a community enterprise run by a group of volunteers helping its members and making allotment gardening available to the residents of Newton Abbot.The association was founded in 1919 on a plot of land rented from Lord Courtenay. Today they look after five fields.

Membership fees
£36 per annum for full plot,
£18 for a half plot from 1st January, 2009. 20% discount for over 60s. Initial £5 registration fee and key service charge of £2.50, or/and £1 for shop membership. Membership is open to anyone of age to sign a contract and work a plot. Non-plot holders may use the shop at Decoy. (£1 per annum). They are an equal opportunities organization.
