Description:

Riding is a great way to see Dartmoor. Based in the National Park at Widecombe in-the Moor, Shilstone Rocks offers riding over Dartmoor for complete beginners to experienced riders. Rides are organised into groups of 4 or less (larger groups accommodated), and are tailored to individual experience. Our qualified ride leaders & instructors are on hand to give you as much instruction as you require both before and during your ride.

Lessons are available. We can organise a tailor made package of lessons to suit you, whether you are a complete beginner or more experienced. A mix of lessons in the arena with instructional hacks over Dartmoor is a great option.

We offer full & holiday livery, with large stables, all year round turn out, arena lessons, advice & fabulous moorland riding.

Shilstone Rocks is a British Horse Society Approved family business, established in 1962. It is also home to the famous prize winning Dartmoor Pony stud. They successfully complete at Olympia & Horse of the Year Show.
